Moscow fully halts Ukrainian truck transit across Russia
MOSCOW, Feb 16 (PRIME) -- Russia has fully suspended Ukrainian truck transit, including trucking to Kazakhstan, from 12:00 p.m. Moscow time on Tuesday, the Transport Ministry said in a statement.
Other countries’ companies may carry Ukrainian products to Kazakhstan, the ministry said.
According to the Federal Service for Transport Oversight, the number of Ukrainian trucks blocked in Russia exceeded 320 at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
On Monday, the Ukrainian government officially suspended traffic of Russian trucks across the country, including their transit to the E.U., after Ukrainian nationalists blocked the transit in a range of country’s regions.
